Traditional craft plant-based indigo dyeing technique
Our plant-based indigo dyeing technique is a traditional craft from Yishanren in Guizhou, China. From picking cotton to dyeing fabric, the process includes 16 meticulous steps, different from common chemical dyes that use harmful additives. Yishanren's indigo dyeing technique uses natural plant materials and relies on fermentation, resulting in a pure and natural color that is gentle and environment-friendly.
