Extraordinary, Every Great Melody
is in the Hand of Musicians

aNueNue X Luthier Mitsuta

The story and collaboration started when ukulele artist Kyas introduce Luthier Mitsuta to aNueNue. We design the bird ukulele, and Mitsuta design the voiced of Bird ukulele. Mitsuta's Mount Fuji-voiced brace design produces a clear overtone and warm sounding ukulele. His unique design and perfection to work inspire aNueNue team.

Western Red Cedar from Canada

Origin in the pacific northwest of Canada. Cedar is softer than spruce, and that softness typically translates into sweet harmonics and a wider tonal palette. Cedar sports a consistent straight grain, the color can range from lighter to darker tone wood.

In Search of Wood Pairing
Cedar with Rosewood

Cedar over Rosewood, you will get the sweetness and warmth that Rosewood has without so much of the overtone in comparison to the moon bird. Cedar sounded more mature and open sound in its tonal characteristics. Cedar is favored by finger style players due to its warmth and response.

Indian Rosewood has a straight grain, dark red, purple to brown appearance. It produces deep sweeping lows, and lush like treble. It works well for all music genres and is especially a favorite among finger-style players.

Moon Phase Spalted Maple Inlay

Ebony is a hard dense tone wood with a silky smooth feeling. It's a stable wood to be a fretboard, adds brightness to the tone, and faster attack. Fretboard has spalted maple moon phase inlays. The 18-frets design allows for endless tonal possibilities.
